Becoming The Brand And Business - Crazy Journey Day One

Today, I realized that I need to improve myself more when it comes to building a business that will allow me to not rely on affiliate marketing or any other platform to make a living. 

Anyone who has decided to get into the affiliate marketing world can completely relate, especially if you are trying to sell your own products and make a living off of things that you create rather than others. 

For the past week, I have been trying to set up my business presence on tick tock, and I did garner 1 sale for a product that was helpful for children.  

I realized that making products to be posted on TikTok to get potential sales was taking a lot of time, which made me realize I did this exact same thing when I was focusing 100% on the Amazon influencer program.

Now, this does not mean I'm not going to continue to take advantage of the opportunities available with those programs, but my goal should be to work 100% on things that benefit me versus others when I wake up in the morning. 

I have not been doing that, and I can tell the difference. I realize I am going to repeat the same mistake I made when I neglected the other platforms that benefited me 100% versus others.

So here are the things I'm currently doing to get back on track with establishing myself and my product so that I can be found and hopefully gain more interest from people who resonate with my brand and product to get sales in the future.

1. Pinterest is the number 1 place to get seen

I have already seen the benefits that Pinterest can bring to my DIY blog, and I am going to implement those strategies to build up my money-struggle success Pinterest account because this is where I want to get more followers for my YouTube channel and also for my blog. To help me with consistently posting on Pinterest, I purchased software that creates Pinterest posts based on my blog URLs, and I can schedule them years in advance. 

2. Researching Pinterest Interest

This 1 trick I have found to find the exact keyword people are searching for on Pinterest that resonates with my content is the ad feature.  When you are attempting to create an ad with Pinterest, you are able to go into a section that pinpoints exactly the number of people viewing certain keywords that can help you get attention to your stuff.  It took forever to find this information because people talking about it was not being direct with how you find it.  I'm starting to believe people do this on purpose just because they want to keep dating you into watching their content; what sucks if it's not giving you information that benefits you.

3. Back on my YouTube game

I made a promise to myself that this year, I was going to make more YouTube videos as I did last year that focus on the things I am doing, and I have already fallen off.  I realized I am not going to be able to build my YouTube if I don't put out more videos; however, I do find it challenging to always make a video when I'm just talking.  For talking, I feel like a podcast makes more sense; however, people like to watch you talk, and I have to get more comfortable with that.

4. Of course, you got to build the blog

Now, my blogs have been getting content here and there but never consistently, but that's about to change.  I had to really understand how I can maximize my time based on how I operate, and that has been a challenge in itself.  Knowing yourself and where you fall short on things can help you be better and execute.  

Because I am a one-man team, I need to find information, write it, and post it while also doing everything else I'm mentioning in this blog for multiple platforms.  

Again, I have decided to look for software that can help me because AR is right now my best friend. Doing everything manually is not 100% smart in my case, so I am utilizing AI for a lot of help. I edit and make it my own, as well as take information that AI provides to help me in my journey.

It all boils down to making a plan and knowing how to use the platform I am trying to gain exposure and extension on to the best of my ability.  Aware of those time when it happens to correct my phone and get back on track.

A few months is all that's needed to see change.
